Certificate in Caribbean and Latin American Studies

The Latin Americanists in the Spanish Studies program participate in the University's Caribbean and Latin American Studies program. Spanish majors are encouraged to complete the Certificate in order to enhance their cultural knowledge of the region. Many of the advanced Spanish classes related to Latin America and the Caribbean count toward the Certificate, as well. The introductory course, LAS 3002, serves as an elective in the Spanish major.
