Student gives commencement speech in Washington during his Internship
Florida Atlantic University’s Sayd Hussain is majoring in Environmental Engineering and has a minor in Political Science. For the past five plus weeks Sayd has spent part of his summer interning for the Ecological Society of America through the Washington center, in our country’s Capitol. New Resource Site Available
There are some common problems that college students face and they don’t often know where to go for help. Students can meet with a counselor at CAPS for an initial appointment. Based on unique concerns and situations, a counselor might recommend individual therapy, group therapy, or relationship counseling. Visit Healthy Campus Mental Health page to learn more.
Internship and Job-time Job Fair
The Internship and Part-time Job fair is Wednesday, September 19 at 10 a.m. located in the Recreation and Fitness Center. Career fairs are a great opportunity to meet face to face with employers specifically wanting to hire FAU students and graduates. Attend the upcoming career fair specially designed for students looking for internships or part-time jobs. Professional dress is strongly recommended. Bring multiple copies of your resume. 10th Annual iLead
The 10th Annual iLead will be taking place Saturday, Sep. 23. iLead is a catalyst for students to become change agents! This conference is FREE for FAU students and includes popular keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and opportunities for students to engage with peers, faculty & staff.
