Student gives commencement speech in Washington during his Internship
Florida Atlantic University’s Sayd Hussain is majoring in Environmental Engineering and has a minor in Political Science. For the past five plus weeks Sayd has spent part of his summer interning for the Ecological Society of America through the Washington center, in our country’s Capitol. HOW 2 FAU Volunteers Needed
HOW 2 FAU events are important steps in students’ transition to Florida Atlantic University. HOW 2 FAU is for all first-year, first-time, and transfer students attending the Boca Raton campus of FAU. There are several events taking from August 17 – 22 that need volunteers. Volunteers can assist with events such as the Academic Success Conference, "Leaders Get Jobs!," and Get WOW’d to name a few. FALL 2017 WEEKS OF WELCOME EVENT SUBMISSION
Do you have a phenomenal event that occurs during the first two weeks of course work? Would you like to have said event featured in the Weeks of Welcome(WOW) calendar? Beginning Fall 2017, event sponsors will have the opportunity to submit their program for WOW calendar consideration. Approved events will be added to the Fall 2017 Weeks of Welcome calendar and will be featured on all marketing for the series. HOW 2 FAU
How 2 FAU provides a great opportunity for students to learn to navigate campus, meet friends and connect to various communities within. FAU Students who attend How 2 FAU events can expect to build greater confidence in their abilities to successfully access and utilize academic, leadership development and career readiness resources. 10th Annual iLead
The 10th Annual iLead will be taking place Saturday, Sep. 23. iLead is a catalyst for students to become change agents! This conference is FREE for FAU students and includes popular keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and opportunities for students to engage with peers, faculty & staff.
