ACCUPLACER (CPT) / GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
Did you know that over 80% of Florida students fail the CPT or GK exam the first time?
The ACCUPLACER (CPT) is required for all non-exempt college students in Florida public colleges and universities. The CPT test is similar to the GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (GK) exam for those wishing to receive Florida teaching certification. Our instructors are experts in both tests. The CPT is an achievement test that measures selected communication and mathematics skills adopted by the State Board of Education. The CPT test consists of three subtests: Reading, Sentence Skills and Mathematics. FAU Test Prep has developed two structured test preparation courses that will help you with all aspects of the tests CPT/GK Math and CPT/GK Verbal.

For FAU students, there are no refunds without written verification from the FAU Testing Center that you are exempt from the CPT exam.
