Starting a new exercise program

Whether your changing up your routine or trying something new , starting an exercise program can be challenging.

  • Try working out with a buddy – you can motivate and hold each other accountable
  • Set small goals to start
  • There’s no “right time” to work out- exercise when it fits in to your schedule
  • Check out group fitness classes – you won’t be the only beginner
  • Use the environment around you – get a yoga mat and use it at home, use furniture for body weight exercises, and use the campus as a jogging trail
