Bike Safety (12:00 – 5:00 PM)
Bike America will provide FREE bike check-ups to promote a safe biking experience for all participants. Take advantage of this valuable service. Bike America will also be available for purchase of helmets, shoes, clothing, bicycles and many other items at Special Event discount prices.
Bike America has a limited number of bicycles for rental for the race. Contact the shop early to reserve a rental (561-391-0800). -
All That You Need to Know for Your First Race (12:00 to 1:15 PM)
Presenter: Racheal Wood, Level II USAT Certified Coach, Master’s Degree, Exercise Science and Health Promotion, 2002 Ironman Master World Champion and numerous national and world top finishers.
If you are new to the sport or this is your first race, this presentation is designed for you. Have all your questions answered and learn tips that will make a big difference for you on race day. -
Swim Like A Shark (1:30 to 2:45 PM)
Presenter: Niki Alvarez, Level 1 USAT Coach, NCAA Division 1 Swim Coach at FAU, 2010 Overall Female, FAU Wellness Triathlon, 3 time Half Ironman distance World Championship qualifier.

Cycling techniques make a difference. Learn cornering, racing protocol, quick transition tips, gearing and bridge riding and course safety skills.
