The FAU High School admissions process supports success in students who have demonstrated high academic ability and social maturity. The Admissions Committee may respond favorably to evidence that an applicant has demonstrated excellence in a particular endeavor – academic, extracurricular or otherwise. FAU High Students come from counties across southeastern Florida and are demographically representative.

There are three application periods. The three levels of priority for acceptance or denial are:

  • Early Applicants – first priority for admission for highly qualified students.
  • Regular Applicants – second priority for admission of highly qualified students.
  • Contingency Applicants – last priority for admission of very highly qualified students on as space available basis.
