Other testing Centers
A non-expired Photo ID is required of the test taker and must be presented prior to testing. NO EXCEPTIONS. You may not test without a valid, non-expired PHOTO ID. Listed below are the only acceptable forms of photo identification:
- A current driver's license
- A state approved ID
- A high school ID (MIDDLE SCHOOL ID IS NOT ACCEPTABLE)
- A college ID
- A current state or federal ID card
- A current passport
- A tribal ID card
- A naturalization card or certificate of citizenship
- 7th grade (or most recent completed year) report card or transcript
- Standardized Test Scores (e.g. FCAT, PSAT, SAT, SAT 10 - if available)

The FAU High School admissions process supports success in students who have demonstrated high academic ability and social maturity. The Admissions Committee may respond favorably to evidence that an applicant has demonstrated excellence in a particular endeavor – academic, extracurricular or otherwise. FAU High Students come from counties across southeastern Florida and are demographically representative.
There are three application periods. The three levels of priority for acceptance or denial are:

Early Applicants – first priority for admission for highly qualified students.

Regular Applicants – second priority for admission of highly qualified students.

Contingency Applicants – last priority for admission of very highly qualified students on as space available basis.

Early Applicants
September Application is now available. Please fill out Application Packet.
October School Admission Team begins reviewing Early Applications.
November School Admission Team begins interviews for Early Applicants who have completed entire Application Packet
November 15 Final Deadline for all Early Applicants. Entire Application Packet must be submitted by this date.
December 15 Early Applicant decisions will be released via email.
February 15 Parents of selected applicants must have responded to online invitation.
Early June New Student Orientation.
Regular Applicants
November 16 Application is now available. Please fill out Application Packet.
December School Admission Team begins reviewing Regular Applications.
February 1 Final Deadline for all Regular Applicants. Entire Application Packet must be submitted by this date.
March 1 School Admission Team begins interviews for Regular Applicants who have completed entire Application Packet.
Early April Regular Applicant decisions will be released via email.
May 1 Parents of selected applicants must have responded to online invitation.
Early June New Student Orientation
Contingency Applicants
February 2 - August 1 Contingency Applicants must submit Application Packet by August 1 to Mr. David Kelly for late consideration (if spaces are available).
