About the Georgia College Website

Georgia College launched the current version of the Website on Jan. 13, 2009.  The goals of this version are to 1) help visitors locate information quickly; 2) increase visuals to better serve content; and, 3) to provide a method to update content easily.

New in this version will be mobile device access.  Connecting to www.gcsu.edu by mobile devices should route visitors automatically to information specifically formatted for this type of access. Items available include: directions, campus directory, calendar of events, majors, campus map and local weather.

An RSS Newsfeed has been added to make it convenient for you to receive News Releases and stories about GC.

The introduction of the "Index of GC Sites" on the home page should help visitors locate information directly without going through multiple menus. 

The GC Website is designed and maintained by the Office of University Communications. We hope you will find the new design and updated color scheme attractive and enjoy the new visual images throughout the site. Please send questions or comments to webmaster@gcsu.edu. 

Individual schools, departments and programs at Georgia College maintain their own content within the design. Please consult those pages for specific contact information or questions.  

The GC Website is also supported by Information Technology, who maintains the university's official Web server and by Web Enabled Resources.
