State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

Continuing Education is not just for degree-seeking students. It is for everyone! Recognizing that an educated workforce is necessary for Ohio to continue to compete in a global economy, we have made Continuing Education an important part of our mission. To support this mission, the Geauga Campus provides continuing education to its service area through non-credit contract training for business and industry and by serving individual and non-traditional students. Programs include courses, workshops and seminars designed to train and re-train, upgrade skills, or meet other learning goals. Geauga Economic Leaders (GEL) Breakfast:
The GEL breakfast is sponsored by Kent State Geauga.  Learn more about local regional development and join in this wonderful opportunity to interact directly with local politicians, trustees, bankers, and business owners. 

Monthly breakfast meetings featuring business and civic leaders as speakers are held the first Friday of every month from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Call Reina Taylor at (440) 834-3745 for a reservation. A $5.00 donation is requested.

Non-Credit Online Courses:
The Kent State Geauga Campus also provides continuing education courses over the Internet through two separate programs.  One is Ed2Go and the other is Gatlin Education Services.  You can learn more about a variety of things without having to commit to a specific class schedule every week.  A wide assortment of courses ensures there is something for everyone.  If you have an e-mail address and Internet access, this program is for you.
