Computer Center and Network Services

The Geauga Campus's Network Services provides computer support for the students, faculty, and staff of Kent State University Geauga. There are multiple computer labs on both the Geauga Campus and the Regional Academic Center for student and community use. Along with full Internet access, the computer labs provide software for the following:

  • Word Processing
  • E-mail
  • Spread Sheet
  • Web Browsing and Information Retrieval
  • Web Development
  • Data Base Development
  • Computer Programming (Visual Studio.Net - in limited labs only)

When students are enrolled in the university they will recieve a Flashline username and password that they will use to login to the computers. Students will need to get a Kent ID card that can be used for printing in the labs, and this service is available at both the Geauga and Regional Academic Center.  Students should read the Acceptable Use Policy form so they know what kind of computer use is acceptable in the labs.  Successful login allows computer use, and access to lab printers for official academic purposes.
