Dental Hygiene focuses on the relationship between oral health care and a patient’s total body health.
Why Study Dental Hygiene: A dental hygienist has the opportunity to influence a patient’s overall health by providing knowledgeable oral hygiene treatment. The profession requires an interest in science and health care and, equally important, a desire to work with and help people. GPC prepares its students to handle the important responsibilities of a career in Dental Hygiene with a rigorous Associate of Science degree career program.
“The rigorous, hands-on experience challenged me to learn skills that I didn't have before. Instructors made sure I was set up for success in passing national and state exams to receive licensure.”
