The Information Security function within OIT provides policies, technologies, measures, practices, and services to ensure that Georgia Perimeter College’s information and information assets are adequately protected, that personal identities are safeguarded, and that compliance requirements are met. Information security personnel assess risks, define appropriate measures to address the risks, maintain processes to respond to information security incidents, and ensure that the GPC community understands their responsibilities and good practice.
