Getting started on the new Office of Information Technology (OIT) website is easy! By navigating the Find a Service tab you will find we have created multiple methods of locating OIT services – Service Desk, By Name, By Audience, By Category. Coming in January 2012, we will also offer the capability to chat in real-time with one of our IT professionals.
The OIT Service Desk page provides a gateway for technology support, especially for those who may not know who to contact when they need help or not sure what service fits their particular needs. The Service Desk page provides the following avenues of support:
- Call and speak to a Service Desk agent.
- E-mail a Service Desk agent.
- Submit a Service Desk Ticket.
- jagSPOT locations and hours of operation.
- Quick links by audience.
- Browse the Frequently Asked Questions.
The By Name page provides a comprehensive catalog of all the services available from the Office of Information Technology. This catalog of services exists to make it easier for faculty, staff, and students to find information on the technology services needed.
The By Audience page provides links to a Service Desk page specifically geared toward each audience’s particular technology service needs whether you are a student, faculty, or staff.
The By Category page provides you an organizational framework in which to browse OIT’s services by grouping. Both the By Audience and By Category pages offer direct links to the services of interest.
Additional enhancements to the OIT website include improved usability and intuitive navigational tools. The fresh, new design is part of OIT’s commitment to provide clarity of communication, optimize the your overall experience, and offer easier navigation. In the coming months, additional enhancements will be introduced to further improve and simplify the site. The redesign is intended to ensure that the site remains effective and user-friendly.

Critical Update
May 24th, 2012 - Regarding Memorial Day Holiday!
The Service Desk will be closed from Saturday, May 26th through Monday, May 28th for the Memorial Day holiday. We will resume normal operation at 7:00am on Tuesday, May 29th. For concerns or questions, please email us or call us at (678) 891-3460 and we will return your call on Tuesday, May 29th.
