PSYC 1101 Introduction to General Psychology 3 hours
Choose 4 hours from the following courses:CHEM 1152 and CHEM 1152L (i) Survey of Chemistry II and Lab 4 hours
PHYS 1111 and PHYS 1111L Introductory Physics I 4 hours
PHED 2006 (j) First Aid, Safety, and CPR 3 hours
PHED 2022 (j) Personal and Community Health 3 hours
Any Biological Science and Lab not already used Course and Lab 4 hours
Additional Requirements 2-5 hours
* or Honors equivalent(a) RSCH 1203 is recommended in Area B for students who may pursue a career in Nursing at GPC.
(b) Students who may pursue a career in Nursing or Dental Hygiene at GPC should NOT choose a foreign language course as their Area C Humanities elective.
(c) PHIL 2020* or 2030* is recommended for students who may pursue a career in Nursing at GPC.
(d) CHEM 1151 & 1151L should be taken in Area D since CHEM 1151 and CHEM 1151L are prerequisites for BIOL 1611 & BIOL 1611L in Area F.
(e) CHEM 1152 & 1152L are recommended in Area D for students who may pursue a career in Dental Hygiene at GPC.
(f) MATH 1070* is recommended in Area D.
(g) PSYC 1101 is a required course in Area F. Students should choose another course for their Area E elective.
(h) SOCI 1101 is recommended in Area E for students who may pursue a career in Dental Hygiene at GPC.
(i) If not already taken in Area D, CHEM 1152 & 1152L are recommended for students who may pursue a career in Dental Hygiene at GPC.
(j) If not used to complete the additional Physical Education requirements.
