WHO: The Writers Institute at Georgia Perimeter College and the Georgia Center for the Book welcome author and Miami Herald columnist Carl Hiaasen for a book signing and lecture. Hiaasen is a favorite with children for his Newberry Award winning book “Hoot.” He has also written 17 other novels.
WHAT: Doors open at 6 p.m., and Hiaasen will speak at
7 p.m. He will hold a book signing following the lecture.
WHERE: GPC Clarkston Campus, Cole Auditorium. The campus is located at
555 North Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston.
