This year was a great success – 15 entries and six awards! We are very thankful for the area vendors who generously donated prizes for the contest – Bonefish Grill, Captain Anderson’s, Lowes, Publix, Schooner’s, and WonderWorks. We also appreciate the participation of our esteemed judges: Dr. George Bishop, Dr. Melissa Lavender, and Chef Paul Ashman. Congratulations to our winners!

Did you know you can send the call number of a book to your phone? You can! Here's how:
1.Perform a catalog search from the Library homepage.
2.From the search results screen, click the “Details” tab for your desired item.
3.Click the “Send to” tab on the right side of the screen, then select “Send text message” from the dropdown menu.
4.Select your desired library, and provide your cell phone number and carrier from the pop up window.
5.Check your phone and head to the stacks!

Wednesday, April 11: Edible Book Contest
Create something edible inspired by a book. It can look like a book, have text, or be inspired by the themes or title of a specific book. You can bake a cake, make cookies, build a ginger-bread house, or create a food sculpture. Bring your creation to the library Wednesday morning before 12:00. Prizes will be awarded at 12:30!
Friday, April 6 to Thursday, April 12: Text-A-Librarian Trivia Contest
Questions will be released on April 6th. Please check your student email or stop by the library to find out questions. Instructions will be included in the email.
