Transfer Track/Oceanography (OCEAN-AA)

AREA OF CONCENTRATION: This transfer track is designed to prepare students for upper division studies interdisciplinary options leading to graduate degrees in oceanography. There is no undergraduate bachelor’s program in the state universities in Florida; however, an undergraduate degree in oceanographic engineering may be earned at UF. Students interested in pursuing a graduate degree in oceanography should fulfill the courses listed below as a portion of their undergraduate preparation for one of the five areas of specialty leading to graduate work in oceanography: chemistry, physics, biology, geology, and oceanographic engineering.
