The National Society for Leadership and Success, Induction Ceremony Program

National Society for Leadership and Success Induct New Members

The Gulf Coast chapter of the National Society for Leadership and Success inducted 37 new members in ceremonies last night. Eighty-four percent of these earned the Presidential category, indicating a GPA of 3.3 or above.  This semester 139 students joined the Society, which was established at Gulf Coast in the fall of 2009.  Now the Gulf Coast Chapter has 301 alumni and 251 current members.

To be inducted members must complete certification requirements, which include participating in three national speaker events; completing Leadership Development training; and successfully completing goals through a process called Success Network Teams.  In addition, members are encouraged to be a part of a Community Service project.  This semester the Chapter chose to adopt a Callaway 2nd grade class and held a pancake breakfast to raise money to buy supplies for the class.  The members fund the Chapter through the sale of coupon books and by soliciting donations from the community.

Dr. Jim Kerley gave the keynote address at the Induction Ceremony and Brandi Davis, who has been the Chapter president since January 2011, turned over the office to Dexter Littlefield.

This semester’s inductees are:
