Get on the Fast Track to CCAF
You can complete your general course requirements for the Community College of the Air Force in two terms or less and all of those courses count toward an associates degree with Gulf Coast as well. You can even merge many of your CCAF courses to an associates degree with Gulf Coast.
Returning to school doesn't have to be difficult. Choosing to attend Gulf Coast State College may be one of the easiest decisions of your life. Here are a few reasons why:
Gulf Coast offers many of today's most popular degree programs, including Health Sciences, Business, and Technology, which means you can choose the program that interests you most. Many of these programs allow active duty military to transfer pervious college credits and military training toward a specific academic program.
Convenience is important, so that's why we have a commitment to offering courses that work for you. You can attend on-base during the day, the evening, on the weekend, or even through E-Learning at home.
SOC Member - Gulf Coast State College is a participating member of Service members Opportunity Colleges (SOC), a consortium of 1,550 colleges and universities dedicated to providing educational opportunities for service members and their families.
American Council on Education - The American Council on Education (ACE) catalogs the training service members receive during their military career and recommends college equivalency credits. MEI recognizes ACE credit recommendations toward completion of Florida Community College associate degree programs. Students can earn even more credit for what they already know through experience testing programs such as CLEP or DSST.
