Please follow these steps to get your TA Online...  

Step 1: Log into the Air Force Portal ( https://aiportal.acc.af.mil/aiportal/)
Step 2: Selected Air Force Virtual Education Center (AFVEC) from under the ‘Top Viewed Items’
Step 3: To request Tuition Assistance (TA) Select ‘Application for Tuition Assistance’.
Step 4: Follow instruction to complete TA submission process.
Step 5: If your Tuition Assistance application is approved, YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR SCHOOL WITH A COPY OF THE AF-1227 (TAFORM).  SET YOUR PRINTER MARGINS AT .25” ON ALL SIDES.

Request for Tuition Assistance cannot be obtained prior to 30 days from term start date.

YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO COMPLETE YOUR ONLINE TA

• Fees Due:  See College Calendar
• Cost per credit hour: See Tuition and Fees
• Additional costs for e-learning courses:
• Courses carrying lab fee (see course description).

AS A GCSC STUDENT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COST OF COURSES NOT DROPPED BY THE REFUND PERIOD REGARDLESS OF PAYMENT METHOD.

TA forms must be submitted to GCSC

* Hand deliver to room 45A education center OR GCSC Fax 913-3305

PLEASE CONTACT THE EDUCATION CENTER AT 283-4285 IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE OR ARE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS OBTAINING THE TA.
