This program has two purposes. A student graduating from this program is prepared to enter the workforce as a highly skilled electronic technician.
Students may also elect to continue their studies toward a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) at several state universities.
The curriculum balances instruction in theory with hands-on laboratory applications. A strong background in basics and in-depth study of advanced topics provides the student a diversified background in circuit theory, digital systems, microcomputers, programmable logic controllers, and analog systems.
Those who wish to further their studies are well prepared for entry into a four-year BSEET program.
