Employees will be able to visit this central website to browse training opportunities, register for classes, track their training histories, and more.
2012 Laboratory Safety Workshop

Occupational Health & Safety will offer a one-day Laboratory Safety Workshop on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. The workshop will be held in the Community Health Services Building (933 19th Street) in the basement, room B-1, from 8AM - 5PM with a catered lunch provided.
In depth discussions and demonstrations are offered on Biosafety, Chemical Safety, Hazardous Materials, Waste, and General Safety. This is an excellent course for anyone who works in or supervises a laboratory.
There is a $25 fee for UAB employees ($75 for non-employees).
Class size is limited. Registration is through the UAB Faculty and Staff Learning System. Click on "Access Learning System" and login, click on "Catalog", and search for Laboratory Safety Workshop.
