Welcome to the Humanities and Fine Arts Division at Heartland Community College! We offer a broad range of courses that will meet requirements for the General Education Core Curriculum for an Associate's Degree or for transfer to a four year university. However, the Humanities and Fine Arts Division (HFA) offers much more than required courses necessary for your college degree. We also provide an exciting breadth and depth of studies in the areas of Art, Communication, English, Film, Foreign Languages ( Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish), Humanities, Music, Philosophy, Reading, Religion, Theater and Women's Studies.
