Associate of Science
The mathematics associate of science (AS) program provides the essential initial elements for a successful career in this field or related fields. Students study mathematical theories, relationships, methods and principles for the solution of problems in the academic, scientific, business, and industrial fields. This program is designed for students intending to pursue a baccalaureate degree in mathematics.

Possible Career Paths

The most common jobs people have one year after receiving a baccalaureate degree in mathematics are secondary teacher, computer programmer, actuary, and computer systems analyst.
