Important Dates for 2011-2012 Financial Aid
»FALL 2011 SEMESTER«
August 15, 2011 - Fall session begins.
August 26, 2011 - Last day to drop, no record/refund for fall session.
September 2, 2011 - Enrollment hours for Pell awards are frozen. Enrollment in
subsequent credit hours after this date will not increase Pell award for fall session.
September 9, 2011 - Scholarship/state aid applied to student accounts.
September 25, 2011 - Scholarship ceremony - scholarship distributed to students in attendance.
October 7, 2011 - Mid-term. Last day for eligible financial aid recipients to charge at the bookstore for fall session.
October 11, 2011 - Federal aid applied to student accounts for fall session.
October 25, 2011 - 60% point of fall semester - federal financial aid refund checks mailed to students.
November 2, 2011 - Last day to request fall only loan.
December 9, 2011- Fall session ends.
»SPRING 2012 SEMESTER«
December 20, 2011 - Book vouchers available at the bookstore for financial aid
recipients for spring session. Eligible students may charge books and supplies against their Pell grant, Partners for Employment grant, Stafford loan, and/or scholarships.
January 17, 2012 - Spring session begins.
January 30, 2012 - Last day to drop, no record/refund for spring session.
February 6, 2012 - Enrollment hours for Pell awards are frozen. Enrollment in subsequent credit hours after this date will not increase Pell award for spring session.
February 17, 2012 - Scholarship/state aid applied to student accounts.
March 9, 2012 - Mid-term. Last day for eligible financial aid recipients to charge at the bookstore for spring session.
March 19, 2012 - Federal aid applied to student accounts for spring session.
April 2, 2012 - 60% point of spring semester - federal financial aid refund checks mailed to students.
April 20, 2012 - Last day to request loan for 2011-2012 academic year.
May 18, 2012 - Spring session ends.
»SUMMER 2012 SEMESTER«
May 17, 2012 - Book vouchers available at the bookstore for financial aid recipients for pre-summer session. Eligible students may charge books and supplies against their Pell grant and Partners for Employment grant.
May 21, 2012 - Pre-summer session begins. Last day to drop, no record/refund for pre-summer session.
May 24, 2012 - Book vouchers available at the bookstore for financial aid recipients for summer session. Eligible students may charge books and supplies against their Pell grant and Partners for Employment grant.
June 7, 2012 - End of pre-summer session.
June 11, 2012 - Summer session begins.
June 14, 2012 - Last day to drop, no record/refund for summer session. Last day for eligible financial aid recipients to charge at the bookstore for summer session.
