ORGS serves as a “catalyst for discovery” by providing:
- Grant writing and budgeting assistance, including mock reviews
- Specialized computers and software
- Statistical consultation
- Concept paper (letter of intent) development and review
- Research design and measurement consultation
- Program planning and evaluation consultation
- Assistance with finding appropriate funding mechanisms, including enrollment in alert systems for funding opportunities
- Preparing applications for electronic submission
- IRB pre-review
- Consultation on implementation and quality control
- Assistance with project management and operations, including field site operations
- Progress report preparation assistance
- Publication and dissemination assistance
- Career assessment and planning
- Personal abstract alert system of recent findings in your area(s) of interest
ORGS also provides financial support to faculty through a set of award mechanisms.
6th Annual Research Day Conference 2012 - Summary and Wrap-up
CNR/ORGS will host the 6th annual SHP-SON-SHS Brookdale Campus Research Day on May 2, 2012. CHMP's Daliah Heller, PhD, MPH will give a presentation on "Health care provider perspectives on caring for patients with substance use" in the cafeteria at 5pm.

The Center for Nursing Research (CNR) and ORGS has merged following the move of the School of Public Health to the new uptown campus. The CNR/ORGS will continue providing research support and resources to the Health Professions and all programs currently housed at the Brookdale Campus.
