At the Industrial Extension Service, we recognize the value of a strong team and have recruited renowned organizations into our statewide mission. Some of these provide us with expertise in highly specialized fields, like the Minerals Research Laboratory in Asheville and the Polymers Center of Excellence in Charlotte. Some provide specialized services to a narrow range of clientele, like the NCSU Technology Incubator on Centennial Campus. But all expand our reach and our effectiveness for North Carolina.
In addition, we now offer two new affiliated programs which provide opportunities for valuable interactions that might never take place otherwise. The E3 initiative brings together companies and communities that are interested in sustainability, and provides services to enhance profits and compliance. The Manufacturing Makes It Real Network provides venues where North Carolina manufacturers can discover new business opportunities and express their pride in their "Made in NC" products.
