Shingo Prize Implementation Services

On-site Criteria Training and Assessment

Shingo Model and Criteria Guidelines Workshop 1 Day
The Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence is based on lean tools, lean principles, and system implementation and business results. This workshop will show how the Shingo model and criteria guidelines work together to transition an organization toward a high performing lean organization.  Participants will be exposed to the following: self assessment, dimensions and guidelines, application exercises with report outs, process costs, and services available.

Pre-assessment to Shingo Prize Criteria Guidelines 1 Day
This pre-assessment will identify the organization’s strengths and gaps to the Shingo Prize Criteria Guidelines in preparation to apply for the Shingo Prize.  Services include: management Lean Journey overview, tour of facility with assessment scoring, interviews/self assessment with first line leaders, three year metrics trend review, Gemba walk/self assessment/TPS matrix with senior management and Q and A.

Shingo Module 3 days
This is an interactive event at the customer site that includes the above workshop on day 1, the pre-assessment on day 2 and adds the day of reflection by the client on day 3.  This is a great opportunity for the company to really open the eyes of management and employees through training, assessing, and reflection on the current state of the “Lean Journey”.
