OFFICE OF OFFICIAL COURT REPORTERS

The Office of the Official Court Reporters is located in the lower level of the east wing of the courthouse. Each official court reporter is appointed by the chief justice to serve in the capacity of official court reporter in the state of New Jersey in Superior Court.

The court reporters' mission is to record and maintain a verbatim stenographic record of various proceedings. They also prepare transcripts on appeal as well as nonappeal matters, when requested. They provide juries with readback in trials when requested. The court reporters also provide real time translation for the hearing impaired for litigants, jurors, judges and attorneys when required.

All reporters have computers, thus enabling them to provide daily transcripts when requested. For more information please contact:
