School of Fashion
Founded in 1983, the Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising has received widespread support from the fashion industry, corporations and the public. The fashion school offers four-year baccalaureate programs leading to Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. The fashion school features internships and a studio/gallery space in Manhattan for students. Graduates of the fashion school have gone on to design as well as manage and promote within the fashion industry.
Kent/Blossom Art
Features exhibitions in painting, sculpture, visual communication design, ceramics, glass and printmaking.
Kent State University Museum
Featuring nine galleries with changing exhibitions throughout the year focusing on fashion and decorative arts, the museum houses one of the nation's largest and finest collections of gowns, traditional dress and interior domestic displays.
School of Art
Brings both historical and contemporary visual arts as well as Non-western and Western Art to the community. Four galleries are used to emphasize the crafts, non-western traditions, women and Ohio related artists in addition to traditional art genres.
