The Master of Architecture (44) professional degree program (NAAB accredited) seeks to prepare graduates to enter the profession of architecture by stimulating the growth of technical knowledge and design creativity. The program fosters the refinement of design skills acquired in undergraduate programs. Master coursework affords opportunities for inquiry in architecture through the introduction of traditional scholarly research methods as well as approaches to research through design. Professional practice course offerings provide a comprehensive exposure to professional issues and a broad capacity for considering the practice of architecture in innovative ways.
Students in the M.Arch. program must earn at least a total of 44 credit hours, 32 from core courses and 12 from elective courses.
