The Operations Effectiveness Council (OEC) was formed in Spring 2000 to ensure that cross-divisional plans and implementation occurs at the operational level of the university, with representatives from all divisions. The purpose of this council is to provide feedback on the implications of organizational change and implementation strategies of various strategic initiatives that have university-wide impact. The council meets monthly and provides regular updates and staff support to the president.
