Educational Technology and Distance Learning

The Educational Technology and Distance Learning (ETDL), Room 131, provides technological and pedagogical support for teaching, research, and service and provides instructional design, digital video, graphics production, and programming for university-wide new media initiatives. ETDL promotes computer literacy and expertise at Kent State by providing hands-on group instruction in emerging technologies to faculty. Workshop topics include basic software applications like WebCT, Dreamweaver and Excel, as well as more advanced topics in cooperation with the Faculty Professional Development Center.

Services Provided:
Instructional design, video production, graphics production, multimedia production, computer program support, and a production center for the development of new media.
