The Placement Advising and Scheduling System (PASS) is Kent State University’s unique early advising and scheduling program for all new freshman. Students admitted for the fall semester are invited to participate in this daylong program beginning in February and continuing through June.
At PASS students will take placement exams, meet with an academic advisor, register for classes and receive their student I.D. Additionally, representatives from Residence Services, Student Financial Aid, and many other departments are on-hand to assist students and parents with the enrollment process. Unlike most institutions, students are not required to make a financial commitment prior to participating in PASS.
