Kent State University welcomes students from all ethnic, cultural and racial backgrounds. We feel students from diverse backgrounds are valuable, contributing members of the Kent community. Kent State has a rich history, which has always included the contributions of multicultural students. From the student formation of the Center for Pan-African Culture to the variety of multicultural student organizations, Kent State has a lot to offer.

We also host many events throughout the year that enrich the experiences of all Kent State students. Events range from the annual Martin Luther King celebration to the Native American Pow-Wow.
