Student Support Services TRiO Grant
A federal grant to serve students who meet one or more of the following criteria: First-generation college student, recipient of a Federal Pell Grant, registered with Kent State's Student Accessibility Services. Use our Eligibility Calculator to see if you qualify!
SSS Grant Participants may receive:
- Grant Aid Scholarships
- Scheduled Tutoring - for most subjects
- Study Groups
- Peer Mentoring - study skills, test-taking strategies & time management
- Membership in a community dedicated to academic success and graduation
Come in to see us:
- Download and Complete the 2012-2013 Application for Tutoring
- Completed application must be submitted in person at the Academic Success Center (ASC) between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday. The ASC is located in 207 Schwartz Center (MSC). You will meet with a subject specialist to discuss your options for tutoring.
