International Business Trip

International Business Experience with the Executive MBA for Healthcare Professionals

An understanding of global healthcare models and the manner in which they impact the business of healthcare is vital in today’s world.

It can contribute significantly to developing successful competitive strategies in the dynamic United States healthcare market and beyond.

Our EMBA’s Invaluable International Business Trip

The International Business trip is a one credit hour course in which each Executive MBA cohort for Healthcare Professionals has the opportunity to travel and explore the global business aspects of healthcare. As a part of preparing for the trip, students will take a two credit hour course titled International Area .

The one week trip typically takes place in late September or early October during the fifth semester of coursework. The most recent trip to Geneva, Switzerland and Paris, France allowed students to meet with World Health Organization and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development representatives.

This segment of the program is the favorite of many students as it leads to deeper connections with the cohort and richer cultural insights.
