Full-time Graduate Student Orientation

Mandatory Orientation program is scheduled for Thursday, August 18, 2011 and an optional program on Friday, August 19, 2011. Please meet at the Business Administration Building and plan to spend the whole day with us.

Please complete the following form to confirm your attendance.

What to Expect

Although orientation is somewhat structured, the major goal is to help get everyone acquainted. The sessions are designed to give an overview of the program curriculum, policies and procedures, and the services that Kent State University and the College of Business Graduate Programs has to offer.

International students should also attend the International Orientation session. Please inquire with the Office of International Affairs directly by calling (330) 672-7980, e-mailing oia@kent.edu, or visiting their web page.
We will be taking everyone's photo for a class photo roster, so please wear professional business attire (from the waist up) for the photo session. Dress is casual for the rest of the orientation session, so you may want to bring a change of casual clothing for the remainder of the day.

Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis beginning during the check-in time from 8:45 - 9:30 a.m., and continuing through lunch.

Students may park in the College of Business parking lot for orientation. Parking Services will not be ticketing that day.
