Part-time MBA (PMBA) Program
Through the academic and networking opportunities offered by Kent State’s Part-time MBA Program, add to your base of knowledge, expand your technical and managerial competencies, and make connections that will help you reach your career goals.
Program Profile
The PMBA program attracts high-potential business professionals in the Northeast Ohio region who wish to pursue their MBA studies while working full-time. This program is reflective of the College's commitment to life-long learning and recognition of the unique challenges and demands of the working student.
Classes are offered on weeknights, Monday through Thursday, after 6 pm. Courses are conveniently scheduled to meet only one night per week, for 15 weeks, and a full offering of MBA coursework is available during Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions. For most students, the program takes 33 months to complete, taking two courses per semester.
Classes are taught by first-rate and experienced College of Business faculty. Class sizes are set to maximize group discussion and interaction, while still assuring individual attention. Concentrations are available in several critical areas in business, with a new concentration planned in Supply Chain Management.
Also, to serve this professional student population, Kent State University provides evening and weekend hours for many services and facilities. The Graduate Programs Office has extended weekday office hours to provide assistance and advising in the evening. The computer lab, library and bookstore also maintain evening hours for the convenience of all students.
Admission to this program takes place both in the Fall and Spring semesters.
