Project Description

Kent State University Net Impact is committed to 'greening' Kent State's operations and buildings.  More specifically, the Net Impact team is interested in conducting 'green audits' of campus buildings to raise awareness and create an action plan for success.

The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education has a great research guide for campus greening projects.

Kent State's Net Impact Chapter Assembles Recycled Chairs to Promote Sustainability

Graduate students from Kent State University’s Net Impact chapter assembled 14 Adirondack chairs made out of recycled plastic on Sept. 7. Net Impact is a nonprofit organization that promotes sustainability in the workforce. Kent State’s chapter, which consists of about 15 members, resides in the College of Business Administration.  Read the full story!
