MAJOR REQUIREMENTS

  • Requirements if catalog year is Fall 2006 or later
  • Requirements if catalog year is Fall 2004 or Fall 2005
  • Requirements if catalog year is Fall 2002 or Fall 2003
  • Requirements if catalog year is Fall 1999 through Fall 2001

Core Requirements:

CACM 11001, Introduction to Conflict Management (3)
CACM 21002, Gender, Power and Conflict (3)
CACM 21010, Cross-Cultural Conflict Management (3)
CACM 31003, Nonviolence: Theory and Practice (3)
CACM 31010, Conflict Theory (3)
CACM 35092, Internship in Conflict Management (3-12)
CACM 38080, Mediation: Theory and Training (3)
CACM 41010, Reconciliation vs. Revenge (3)
CACM 49091, Seminar in Conflict Management (3)

Choose one of the following:

CACM 32020, Strategic Planning (3)
CACM 33030, Conflict in the Workplace (3)
CACM 34040, Negotiation (3)
CACM 35050, Public Sector Dispute Resolution (3)

Electives: An additional 9-18 hours from the following programs, chosen in consultation with a CACM adviser:
