Our vision is to be the leading public university in entrepreneurial education and innovation, with a focus on instruction, innovation and support for emerging businesses in Northeast Ohio.  Our cross-discipline approach and sustained collaborative relationships with external organizations are the hallmarks of our Center and help foster successful entrepreneurial activity, making Kent State University the centerpiece of entrepreneurial activity in our region.

CEBI is designed to reach out to all Kent State regional campuses. In doing so we will:

  • Fully immerse students in entrepreneurship from their first day through graduation
  • Help students develop entrepreneurial skills and an entrepreneurial mindset by offering innovative,
    experiential learning opportunities
  • Foster relationships between the university and business communities
