Interested in a Chemistry or Biochemistry Major?

We invite high school students and their parents and siblings to visit the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for Explore Kent Chemistry Day on Saturday, February 23, 2013.  Our program will begin in the Williams Hall lobby at 10:00am.  Chemistry and Biochemistry professors will describe our curriculum, job prospects with our degrees, and research opportunities available to undergraduates.  KSU Chemistry and Biochemistry majors will describe college life from a student's point of view.  We will demonstrate our 3D stereoprojection classrooms and take a tour of the instructional and research laboratories.  The visit will conclude with an informal lunch, where you will have opportunities to talk one-on-one with faculty and students.

High school juniors and seniors come from all over Ohio and neighboring states for Explore Kent Chemistry Day.  Transfer students as well as current KSU students who are considering Chemistry and Biochemistry majors are also welcome.

Interested in participating in Explore Kent Chemistry Day?  Fill out the form below if you would like to attend.  For more information, please contact Erin Michael at 330-672-0030 or enmichae@kent.edu.
