Tickets

Congratulations Graduates!

If you are participating in the ceremony and need tickets for your guests, you must complete the Commencement RSVP form within the registration period.

Students who do not complete the Commencement RSVP Form within the Spring 2014 RSVP period (January 29- February 19) will be able to participate in the commencement ceremony, however their guests may be directed to one of the live viewing locations.

Graduates who complete the Commencement RSVP Form within the deadline will be notified via their Kent e-mail account with the procedure and time frame for downloading tickets on Friday, February 21, 2014.

SPECIAL NOTE: You must print your tickets prior to arriving at the Center. Tickets will not be printed at the door.  All guests, including children over the age of one, must have a ticket to enter the MAC Center. Each ticket is unique and cannot be scanned twice.

SPECIAL NEEDS TICKETS: If you have requested reserved seating for guests with special needs, University Ceremonies will reserve seating for your guest and one person to accompany them.  Please instruct your guests to arrive one hour prior to the start of ceremony; they will need to see an usher wearing a gold name tag. The usher will then direct them to their seat. Please note that once the ceremony begins, reserved seats will not be guaranteed.

Family and friends who are unable to attend may view the ceremony live by visiting:

Additionally, there will be a live simulcast at the Kent State Student Center Ballroom and Kiva for guests without tickets. PLEASE NOTE: Seating in these areas (Ballroom and Kiva) is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors will open one hour prior to the start of the ceremony and will close once capacity has been reached.
