MEDLINE (MEDical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System-on-LINE) is a database maintained by the National Library of Medicine containing references to approximately fifteen million citations from 4,000 biomedical journals and other materials. Backfiles are available to the 1940's. MEDLINE searches can be done by individuals themselves using PubMed, Ovid, or EbscoHost: Medline Complete. The Librarian can assist you in the search. There is no charge for a search authorized by the College of Podiatric Medicine.
