Destination Kent State

Destination Kent State Advising and Registration is a mandatory, overnight orientation program for new first year students.  Students are required to stay overnight in a residence hall.  Parents or other family members are encouraged to attend. 

Parents and guests can commute from home or request on-campus housing. Parents and guests will stay in a residence hall separate from the students for a nominal fee.   Another option is to stay in a hotel.  Local hotel information is listed.
