The Digital Sciences minor is designed to complement a wide range of majors.  The minor includes two courses on digital technology -- an introduction to computer applications and an introduction to design processes and principles.  Two other courses explore how different societies, professions and organizations use technology differently.

Two advisor-approved electives in the Digital Sciences provide flexibility to tailor the minor to each student's interests and career goals.  For example, a student might choose digital sciences courses that provide practical skills in web development, programming, networking, human-computer interaction, or other areas that are highly sought-after in the job market.

An informal list course descriptions can be found in the Courses menu item on the left.  DSCI Courses / Undergraduate DSCI has descriptions of all courses with the DSCI prefix, and Other Required Courses / Undergraduate Other has descriptions of required courses with a non-DSCI prefix.  Pre-Approved Electives / Undergraduate Electives has descriptions of courses that have been pre-approved as "Advisor-Approved Electives in Digital Sciences or Related Area".
