Climate: The weather is mild with temperatures averaging between 37.2F - 55.5F in the winter and spring, and 64.3F - 42.5F in summer and fall. You could enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the Alps during the spring semester and swimming or lounging at the beaches of Lake Geneva in the fall semester.

Why it's called the "Peace Capital": Home to the United Nations and many non-governmental organizations such as the Red Cross, Geneva is most often called the "Peace Capital" because it is known as the worldwide center for diplomacy.
