Course Description:

This course will examine current economic issues in the European Union, including the monetary union and Euro, unemployment, immigration, health care, social security, poverty and inequality, and plans for expansion.  The historical development and structure of the EU will also be covered and the role of cultural influences will be explored.  The trip will include visits to EU organizations, banking institutions, OECD, and cultural and historical sites.

Program Costs:

$1900 student fee includes lodging, ground transportation, entry fees, insurance, application fee, some meals.  Student is responsible for airfare, meals, personal expenses and 3 credit hour tuition.
