Undergraduate Education Minor Leading to Teaching Licensure (non EHHS majors)

For the following programs, students seeking licensure must be admitted into Advanced Study and into the Education Minor in order to enroll in upper-division professional education coursework: http://www.kent.edu/catalog/2012/EH/minors/EDUC/educ-progreq/

• Art Education (College of the Arts)
  

• Dance Education (College of the Arts) 

• Music Education (College of the Arts)

• Technology Education (College of Technology)  Please note that admission to the Technology Education Lincensure has been temporarily SUSPENDED.

For the following programs, students have the option of declaring the Education Minor if they want to become a licensed teacher: http://www.kent.edu/catalog/2012/EH/minors/EDUC/educ-progreq/

• Foreign Language Education:  American Sign Language, Classics (Latin), French, German, Spanish (College of Arts & Sciences)
  
• Teaching English as a Second Language (College of Arts & Sciences)
