Current Students
Kent State University Athletic Training Students participate in didactic and clinical courses throughout their career at Kent State University. Athletic Training Students gain valuable experience both inside and outside the classroom as they progress through our program. These students participate actively in mentoring the new students (Pre-professional Phase Athletic Training Student Apprentices) as well as mentoring area high school students through the Kent State Tech Prep Initiative. Kent State currently has 43 athletic training students in the professional phase of the ATEP. In addition to the athletic training students in the Professional Phase of the program, KSU is proud to have approximately 65 athletic training student apprentices (ATSA's) who are in the Pre-Professional Phase (Directed Observation) of the program.
